About Us
Our law offices are formally titled "The Law Offices of Palmisano & Associates, P.C.". Opened in 1998, the firm now has two office locations, in Tempe and Tucson. The attorneys working at this firm are highly experienced in criminal and personal injury matters. The lead partner, Joseph P. Palmisano, is a board certified specialist in criminal law, licensed as such by the state of Arizona bar association since 1989. Another attorney in the firm is a former Arizona Superior Court Judge, who has presided over numerous criminal and personal injury jury trials and who has over 25 years
experience in criminal and personal injury matters. The other attorneys in the firm are also excellent criminal and DUI defense litigators with
many years of exclusive practice in this area. These attorneys keep abreast of all new changes in the law as well as continued practice in all
courts throughout the state of Arizona. Further, these attorneys are under the direct supervision of a Criminal Law Specialist and a Former Judge
Mr. Palmisano is a partner in the firm. Mr. Palmisano graduated
from Fordham University, New York, New York in 1986 earning a
Bachelor of Arts Degree, cum laude. In 1989, Mr. Palmisano
graduated from Syracuse University, College of Law, earning a
Juris Doctor Degree, cum laude. He was awarded Membership
in the Justinian Honor Society for his outstanding academic
achievements. Mr. Palmisano also earned two awards in 1989
for "Best Trial Advocate" and "Best Cross-Examination" from the
University. Mr. Palmisano became licensed in Arizona State and
Federal Court in 1989. In 1998, Mr. Palmisano received certification
as a Certified Specialist in Criminal Law by the Arizona State Board
of Legal Specialization. Mr. Palmisano practices exclusively in
the area of Criminal Defense.

Work Experience
Mike practiced for several Insurance Defense firms where he focused much of his practice on defending Personal Injury Lawsuits. Mike opened the Phoenix Office of a Prominent Los Angeles Insurance Defense Firm that was expanding into Arizona. He returned to Palmisano & Associates in October of 2005 to continue to practice in the areas of Personal Injury & Criminal Defense.
